As the Ecosystem Growth Manager for AI and DePIN in Africa, you will drive the expansion of a decentralized compute network by cultivating both supply and demand. Your focus will be on growing a sustainable ecosystem of infrastructure providers and developer teams building on a sovereign blockchain platform.
What You'll Do
- Source and integrate GPU cluster operators, independent data centers, and hardware repurposers to contribute compute power to a decentralized AI network.
- Develop a consistent pipeline of high-quality resource providers and ensure seamless technical onboarding in coordination with engineering teams.
- Identify and engage AI developers, agent-based service creators, and Web3 protocols needing verifiable inference solutions.
- Guide builders through deployment, from integration to Mainnet launch, encouraging migration from centralized cloud providers.
- Negotiate strategic partnerships with data availability layers, oracle networks, enterprise infrastructure, custody platforms, and developer tools.
- Design and execute incentive programs—including ecosystem grants, acquisition campaigns, and supply-side rewards—in collaboration with Product and Growth teams.
- Act as a liaison between traditional enterprise stakeholders and decentralized architecture, translating compliance, economic, and technical requirements into actionable adoption paths.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years in Web3 business development or ecosystem growth, preferably within Layer-1, Layer-2, or decentralized infrastructure projects.
- Strong grasp of AI fundamentals, including inference versus training, and the role of high-performance hardware like H100-class GPUs.
- Established relationships with node operators, GPU providers, validators, AI developers, and protocol teams.
- Proven ability to lead partnership deals from initial contact through technical integration and live deployment.
- Self-driven with the ability to build and scale outreach pipelines independently in a fast-moving environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience onboarding compute infrastructure or managing supply-side capacity.
- Background supporting enterprise AI workloads or cloud infrastructure operations.
- Familiarity with token economics, incentive mechanisms, or grant program design.
- Understanding of modular blockchain stacks, verifiable compute layers, and decentralized execution environments.
