Opella is hiring an Ecommerce Media Manager to own the media strategy and planning for our Australian market. You will build and execute high-performing media strategies, primarily on Amazon and omnichannel platforms, to support ecommerce sales growth.
What You'll Do
- Define and lead ecommerce media strategy for the Australian market across Amazon and other retail platforms.
- Translate shopper behavior, category & brand insights, and platform trends into tailored media plans.
- Identify new growth opportunities and inform investment decisions with data-driven rationale.
- Forecast, allocate, and optimize media budgets aligned with performance KPIs and market dynamics.
- Support keyword strategy development, including language research and seasonal prioritization.
- Collaborate with the Hyderabad Center of Excellence team to align strategy with execution.
- Provide brand, category, and campaign context to ensure strategic consistency.
- Work closely with local sales and marketing teams to integrate media plans into the broader commercial agenda.
- Ensure continuous alignment with global retail media teams on strategy, tools, and benchmarks.
- Support knowledge transfer through regular category updates and best practice sharing.
- Deliver regular performance reports with actionable insights and clear next steps.
- Monitor market activity and competitor trends to inform media adjustments.
- Recommend and implement continuous optimizations based on campaign performance.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in ecommerce media strategy, planning, and execution.
- Strong understanding of Amazon Ads for both search and DSP.
- Experience in performance marketing and media budget optimization.
- Strong understanding of the Australian ecommerce ecosystem, shopper behaviors, and retail media dynamics.
- Skilled in analyzing data to generate insights and drive decision-making.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams across markets and functions.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with local advertising regulations and platform-specific compliance in Australian healthcare.
- Experience working in an in-house media setup or transitioning from external to internal capabilities.
Team & Environment
You will be part of a regional in-house ecommerce media team, reporting to the Global eCommerce SEA lead. You will work closely with a Hyderabad-based Center of Excellence team and a global strategy team based in Europe.
