Position Overview
As an East Customer Service Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting daily operations at a public parks facility. This part-time role is designed for individuals without a driver’s license and combines customer-facing service with behind-the-scenes administrative and maintenance responsibilities in a fast-paced municipal setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct assistance to patrons by answering questions about programs, facilities, and services
- Manage incoming calls using a multi-line phone system and relay messages accurately
- Process payments, operate cash registers, and maintain balanced accounts
- Enter and retrieve customer data with attention to confidentiality and accuracy
- Support facility readiness by performing setup tasks and addressing cleanliness or maintenance concerns
- Coordinate room reservations and program scheduling using an online system
- Apply city policies when managing patron accounts and resolving service inquiries
- Work across departments and with external partners to support facility access and program needs
- Stay adaptable when handling multiple requests and shifting priorities throughout the day
Qualifications
