The Opportunity Keyrock is expanding its global options desk, seeking an Early Career - Junior Options Trader based in Europe (with remote work flexibility) to become a core team member. You'll initially support senior traders in managing and enhancing options books across crypto derivatives markets, progressively assuming greater responsibilities. This entry-level role offers hands-on, intensive learning, collaborating closely with experienced traders, quantitative analysts, and engineers. You'll gain insights into strategy design, risk management, and execution across 80+ venues. Early-career professionals with strong quantitative skills and excitement for options and systematic crypto trading are encouraged to apply. As a Junior Options Trader you will support on: Trading & Risk Support - Assist in monitoring and managing options book risks under senior trader guidance - Maintain orderly books by verifying positions, PnL, exposures, and ensuring risk limit compliance - Execute trades and adjust positions according to desk protocols and senior trader instructions Research & Strategy Development - Support options and volatility strategy research (systematic and positional), including idea testing and backtesting - Analyze performance, market microstructure, and competitive edges using historical and real-time data - Maintain and refine desk models, parameter sets, and analytical dashboards Collaboration & Tooling - Collaborate with quantitative developers and engineers to enhance pricing, risk, and execution tools - Specify and test new trading system and infrastructure enhancements - Facilitate clear communication across desks when strategies or flows intersect Learning & Development - Rapidly acquire options theory, volatility surface understanding, and crypto derivatives market structures - Engage in code reviews, strategy discussions, and post-trade analyses to accelerate learning - Continuously update knowledge as markets, venues, and products evolve Knowledge Skills & Experience We're recruiting early-career professionals.
