Role Overview:Driver needed in Augsburg, Germany to collect street-level imagery using vehicles equipped with 360-degree cameras. The role involves driving assigned routes in public areas, specifically targeting commercial districts and historical sites, to support enhancement of a major online map platform. The project lasts at least 8 months with potential for extended work.
Responsibilities:- Drive assigned routes in public streets and areas, specifically targeting commercial districts and historical sites- Operate cars equipped with 360-degree cameras to capture images of streets, points of interest, and public areas- Ensure high-quality imaging data is collected, including revisiting areas under poor weather conditions- Store captured images on onboard computers during data collection- Follow specific data collection protocols for consistent and accurate results
Required Qualifications:- Must have a valid Driver License (driving experience, 1-2 yrs minimum)- Must have parking for a vehicle- Must be authorized to work in Germany- Must pass the background check- Available for a minimum of 3 months- Responsible & Reliable- Good driving skills- Great communication skills- High level of responsibility- General car knowledge- Tech savvy (smartphone and basic apps)- Basic computer skills- Self-motivated and detail-oriented
Preferred Qualifications:- Enjoys driving, with flexible schedule- Knows well the area, traffic trends
Technical Stack:360-degree camera systems, Onboard data storage computers, Smartphone and basic apps
