About the Role

You will operate advanced trucks equipped with current technology to deliver safe, reliable, and punctual service. This physically demanding role includes early starts and working in all weather conditions. You must be committed to health and safety, capable of independent work while contributing to team goals, and comfortable engaging with customers and coworkers. Previous awareness of workplace safety standards is essential. A reasonable level of physical fitness is required due to the nature of collecting and sorting materials. You must be located in New Zealand and hold valid work authorization or citizenship.

Responsibilities

  • Operate rear-load and skip trucks safely and efficiently
  • Pursue opportunities to obtain a Class 4 licence and transition to front-load truck operations
  • Maintain precise records and complete required documentation
  • Perform routine safety inspections on vehicles
  • Collect and sort glass and food waste materials
