Responsibilities
- Safely operate self-driving vehicles in accordance with traffic laws to support live testing and gather performance data
- Constantly observe vehicle systems and surrounding road conditions to maintain safe operations
- Remain vigilant and prepared to assume manual control during unforeseen or hazardous scenarios
- Perform vehicle checks before and after each drive to confirm all systems and safety features are functioning
- Record observations and submit comprehensive reports to technical and operations teams
- Communicate field insights and feedback with engineers, passengers, and internal teams to support system improvements
- Stay focused and avoid distractions while actively supervising autonomous vehicle performance
