Schlumberger is hiring a Drilling Engineer for our Well Construction team in San Fernando, Trinidad. In this role, you will assist the Product, Service and Delivery (PSD) team to deliver safe, efficient, and reliable product and service delivery for our customers.
What You'll Do
- Develop optimized technical job designs as required for the Product Line.
- Identify areas where new and cost-effective techniques can be applied.
- Explore opportunities for value-added products and services.
- Provide technical support throughout the entire service delivery process.
- Understand and communicate the value of technology and interpretations.
- Consult with subject matter experts as required to optimize technical designs.
- Support the Product, Service and Delivery Manager during execution with design changes due to evolving job dimensions, resource availability, or service quality incidents.
- Assist in incident response, recovery, and investigation.
- Support multiple Product Line operations through collaborative, optimized job design.
- Assist the sales and commercial team in evaluating technical viability and tenders.
- Analyze job execution versus design and formally capture design improvements and optimization opportunities.
Team & Environment
You will be an integral member of the Well Construction team, working collaboratively to ensure product and service delivery excellence.
Work Mode
This is an onsite position based in San Fernando, Trinidad.
