This position focuses on the planning, implementation, and oversight of drilling operations for oil and gas wells. The Drilling Engineer develops detailed programs that define equipment, procedures, and safety protocols to achieve efficient and reliable well construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Design drilling plans based on geological data, regulatory requirements, and project objectives
- Monitor ongoing operations in real time, making adjustments to optimize performance and mitigate risks
- Collaborate with geologists, field personnel, and technical specialists to ensure alignment across disciplines
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards throughout all project phases
- Analyze operational data to identify improvements and support post-job evaluations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field
- Proven experience in drilling operations or well construction
