Bombardier is looking for a Domain Analyst to support our IT Services, Sales and Technical Publications functions. In this role, you will develop and implement business analysis strategies to translate needs into functional and technical requirements, ensuring completeness of systems and alignment with Bombardier's strategy and architecture. You will join a team dedicated to maintaining the world's most performance aircraft by setting the highest standards through a people-centered approach.
What You'll Do
- Act as IT Domain Analyst to understand and develop strategies for services and technical publications domain.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements.
- Ensure completeness of system requirements and end-to-end processes aligned with Bombardier strategy and architecture.
- Work with the business partner to ensure deep domain knowledge and understanding of enterprise strategies.
- Define detailed architectural designs, guidelines, standards, quality assurance, and roadmaps for your business domain.
- Validate IT and solution architecture designs created by other domain members to ensure alignment with Bombardier requirements and standards.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers and business specialists regarding scope, solution, planning, budget, and handover to solution architects in your business domain.
- Work closely with the Enterprise IT Architecture Team to ensure business architecture decisions align with strategic guidelines.
- Work closely with implementation teams to ensure downstream architecture is executed as planned.
- Collaborate with other technical teams to ensure well-integrated solutions.
- Participate in the evolution of Aerospace IT Reference Architecture and Service Design Models.
- Participate in architecture committees (ARB, DARB) and any project-related committees as needed.
- Control, evaluate, and prioritize Technical Publications requests in collaboration with core IT functions and business partners.
- Provide technical advice and expertise in resolving user-reported problems.
What We're Looking For
- University degree in management or computer science or equivalent.
- 10 years of relevant IT experience in Services and Technical Publications ecosystems.
- 5 years of relevant experience in Architecture, Applications, Business or IT Consulting, or Aerospace domains.
- Strong adaptability to new situations to support an evolving business environment.
- Strong leadership and analytical skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively express technical concepts, both verbally and in writing.
Nice to Have
- IT architecture certification is desirable.
