About the Role

Join Pinsent Masons as a Document Services Technician and become a key part of our collaborative Document Production team. You’ll produce, format, and troubleshoot the complex legal and business documents that power our client matters and pitches. Working remotely, you'll take real pride in ensuring every document meets our high standards for quality and consistency.

What You'll Do

  • Produce and amend complex documents in Word, PowerPoint, and PDF, ensuring alignment to house style.
  • Create and update tables of contents, automated numbering, cross‑references, and comparison documents.
  • Convert and fix documents from external sources to bring them into firm templates and styles.
  • Prepare diagrams, charts, maps, and other visual elements for presentations and pitches.
  • Support internal clients remotely, helping to troubleshoot formatting issues via Microsoft Teams.
  • Manage your tasks, raising issues and communicating progress clearly.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, including the BD Brand & Comms team and creative specialists.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong MS Word skills, including styles, templates, numbering, cross‑references, and layout.
  • Confident in PowerPoint, with the ability to create or adapt visually engaging slides.
  • Experience converting and manipulating PDFs.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and a collaborative mindset.
  • A suitable remote‑working setup with stable broadband.
  • Experience using document management systems such as iManage/FileSite.

Nice to Have

  • Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables, and charts.
  • Experience with DocuSign, Visio, or print/production processes.
  • Background in legal, professional services, or financial services.
  • Creative flair for visual layout and presentation.
