Faro Creaform Engineering is hiring a Division Vice President, Sales & Marketing. In this leadership role, you will act as a change agent for profitable growth, guiding our Global Sales, Application Engineering, After Sales & Marcom teams to expand our market presence and achieve ambitious financial objectives.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate, build, develop, and manage the global sales team and channel partners.
- Drive the team to retain and grow existing customers while developing new prospects, with a focus on expanding presence in regions outside of Europe. Own the monthly Sales Forecast and Opportunity pipeline.
- Establish a results-focused sales culture and shift the focus from pure topline growth to profitable topline growth.
- Meet with key customers to assist the sales team with maintaining relationships, negotiating, and closing strategic deals.
- Develop an annual sales plan to support organizational strategy and achieve financial targets.
- Manage product management and after sales divisions, including NA & International Technical Service and Customer Service.
- Collaborate with MARCOM, global product managers, and other functions to provide market analysis and feedback on market direction, customer needs, and competitive threats.
- Manage the development and administration of sales compensation plans and targets in conjunction with Finance and Human Resources.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of Commercial Sales experience with a proven track record of growing both top and bottom line.
- Experience selling through multiple sales channels, including direct sales, OEMs, distributors, and representatives.
- Highly organized with strong attention to process and process improvement.
- Effective time management and follow-up skills.
- Ability to engage the team with relevant and useful KPIs.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
Nice to Have
- 2+ years of sales experience in technology, capital equipment, and/or instrument sales.
- International sales experience.
- Ability to see the 'big picture' both across and within territories to provide effective leadership.
Team & Environment
You will lead the Global Sales, Application Engineering, After Sales & Marcom teams. Your direct reports include Regional Sales Directors.
