About the Role
The supervisor will oversee all aspects of dive centre activities, including staff management, equipment maintenance, customer service, and adherence to international diving standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily operations at the dive centre
- Supervise diving instructors and support personnel
- Ensure all dives follow recognized safety protocols
- Conduct pre-dive briefings and safety orientations
- Manage inventory and maintenance of diving equipment
- Respond to emergencies using established procedures
- Maintain records of dives and participant certifications
- Train staff on customer service and operational standards
- Enforce environmental protection practices during dives
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve service issues
- Schedule dive trips and coordinate logistics
- Inspect boats and safety gear before each outing
- Promote dive packages and experiences to guests
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and certifications
- Monitor weather and sea conditions for dive planning
- Support new staff onboarding and development
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of facilities
- Report operational issues to management promptly
- Uphold brand standards in guest interactions
- Participate in safety audits and risk assessments
- Assist in developing training materials for team members
- Foster a culture of safety and professionalism
- Track customer feedback to improve service delivery
- Collaborate with other departments for guest coordination
- Ensure all documentation meets legal and insurance requirements

Position based in a coastal region of Saudi Arabia with access to Red Sea dive sites
Certification Requirements
Must hold active credentials from a recognized diving authority such as PADI, SSI, or NAUI at instructor or supervisor level
Physical Demands
Frequent swimming, lifting up to 25 kg, and prolonged standing in hot conditions
Seasonal Availability
Candidates must be available to start within three months and commit to at least one full tourism season
