About the Role

Oshkosh AeroTech is looking for a District Service Manager responsible for maintaining customer satisfaction and service levels for Access products in Southeastern TX (Houston) and Louisiana. You will provide field technical service and advice while delivering the information and training needed for the safe operation and proper maintenance of JLG products.

What You'll Do

  • Provide on-site formal service training and instruction on the repair and maintenance of JLG products.
  • Identify and resolve problems relating to parts, service, and warranty, including appropriate stocking levels of service parts.
  • Collect and transmit data relating to specific service problems, design deficiencies, and general maintenance issues reported via Service Requests.
  • Provide field technical service and advice to customers in compliance with predetermined sales obligations.
  • Deal directly with distribution on end-user service problems.
  • Provide distributors with the technical information and manuals necessary for safe operation and proper maintenance.
  • Coordinate schedule changes with your manager and company departments.
  • Establish and provide training and service programs to instruct distributors in proper maintenance.
  • Recommend modifications for JLG product improvements based on field results and information.
  • Assess product performance and customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction.
  • Visit new distributors upon the arrival of the first pieces of equipment for new JLG models.
  • Communicate any customer support problems or other issues to the appropriate District Manager.
  • Represent the company at regional trade shows and open houses as required.
  • Always maintain customer goodwill and promote the sale of company products to existing and potential customers.

What We're Looking For

  • Five plus years of related work experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 70%.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Compensation range: $102,800.00 - $176,800.00.

Work Mode

This role is based locally, supporting the Southeastern TX (Houston) and Louisiana areas.
