Regal Rexnord is hiring a District Sales Manager - Gulf East -REMOTE in territory

About the Role

Thomson Power Systems, a Regal Rexnord company, is hiring a District Sales Manager to lead and drive sales growth for our broad line of products, including electric motors, variable speed controls, and air moving solutions. This remote role is responsible for the Gulf East territory covering Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, and Mississippi. You will lead a team of direct reports and manufacturer representatives to achieve P&L targets, win competitive share, and drive adoption of high-efficiency motors with OEM partners, national distribution accounts, and contractors.

What You'll Do

  • Achieve P&L targets by managing business unit resources to deliver sales and margin goals.
  • Own and drive revenue growth, leading the team to identify and secure new opportunities.
  • Lead all aspects of sales strategy development and execution for maintaining existing business and capturing competitive share.
  • Be a key functional lead and contributor to overall business strategy alongside marketing, engineering, customer service, and SIOP.
  • Lead talent development and staffing decisions, including hiring, developing, and retaining top talent.
  • Create and drive a vision that ensures ongoing focus, direction, and urgency throughout the sales team.
  • Build and maintain solid professional relationships with key customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Lead customer negotiations to develop commercial agreements that maximize competitive positioning and profitable sales.
  • Lead performance measurement and variable compensation communication and administration.
  • Build a strong cross-functional operating cadence with teams around pipeline, forecasting, deal review, and revenue realization.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technical, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of industry sales leadership and success.
  • Experience leading a team with direct reports.
  • Experience building and converting a CRM opportunity funnel.
  • Strong customer orientation with ability to build executive-level relationships.
  • Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate team members.
  • Successful experience building a go-to-market strategy and sales plan.
  • Strong computer skills – Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
  • Ability to work independently and remotely.
  • High level of personal initiative and ownership of results.

Nice to Have

  • Proven track record of profitable growth.
  • Experience with PT, Leisure Water, or HVAC/R industries selling to OEM and Distribution accounts.
  • Use of Power BI.
  • Experience working with 80/20 or Policy Deployment methodologies.
  • Experience with CRM and forecasting tools.

Team & Environment

You will be a member of the Power Efficiency Solutions (PES) sales team, leading both direct reports and manufacturer representatives, and reporting to the Regional Director of Sales.

Work Mode

This is a remote position requiring residence in one of the covered territory states: Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, or Mississippi.
