About the Role

General Motors is looking for a District Sales Manager to represent the Buick and GMC brands in the South Central Region. You will be the primary contact between GM, dealerships, and IAM stores, focusing on achieving sales and service targets while building strong relationships and supporting dealer operations. This position is central to our vision of a world with Zero Crashes, Zero Emissions, and Zero Congestion.

What You'll Do

  • Act as the primary liaison between GM, dealerships, and IAM stores.
  • Mentor and consult with dealers to achieve monthly and annual sales and service goals.
  • Track dealership Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) to identify and resolve deficiencies or opportunities.
  • Support efficient marketing and advertising for product launches among dealers, IAM, and GM.
  • Build and manage key relationships.
  • Monitor workforce training and ensure compliance with GM requirements and objectives.
  • Assist with inventory management, including vehicle and parts ordering and inventory stabilization.
  • Identify sales opportunities through dealer sales, local market, and competitor analysis.
  • Increase sales volume of GM vehicles and parts and grow customer count.
  • Assist in resolving customer issues.
  • Perform other assigned duties as related to the role.

What We're Looking For

  • A Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of experience in the automotive industry in lieu of a degree.
  • 2+ years of experience in sales and customer service.
  • Ability to travel 100%, be mobile now and in the future, and relocate anywhere within the United States.
  • Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle on a regular basis.
