Cambria is hiring a District Manager, Sales to develop, cultivate, and grow residential and commercial sales throughout an assigned territory. You will manage Market Representatives, Showroom/Gallery personnel, and business partners, with success dependent on cross-collaboration with Operations.
What You'll Do
- Coach, supervise, and lead Market Representatives in their local sales regions and Showroom/Gallery personnel in their assigned spaces.
- Effectively manage 5-10 direct reports, clearly defining priorities and expectations.
- Develop and challenge employees to be high performing and establish a sales-driven culture by setting clear and measurable sales goals.
- Provide daily or weekly feedback to employees to optimize performance, complete performance reviews, and manage performance issues.
- Use Salesforce as a tool to observe and manage employee activity.
- Ensure market development to maximize sales within the region, developing quarterly and annual territory sales plans.
- Oversee development of sales plans by assigned direct reports for their markets or locations.
- Be available to meet with direct reports and customers over meals or at events.
- Provide ongoing training and education to existing Market Representatives and Showroom/Gallery personnel, including riding with Market Representatives 2-3 days per week and spending 1-2 days per week in assigned Showrooms/Galleries.
- Provide initial intensive in-market training and education to new Market Representatives.
- Build and cultivate solid relationships to sell Cambria.
- Grow business partner relationships throughout the territory for residential and commercial accounts.
- Hold business partners accountable for their Sales and sales-driving activities in the Region, engaging with them regularly, including daily visits.
- Maintain a high level of business, financial, and industry expertise to advise partners effectively.
- Work closely and collaborate with the leadership team at Cambria-Owned Distribution Centers and FabShops in the assigned region, spending 1-2 days per week at an assigned office.
- Maintain a professional, high level of contact with key partners, industry associations, retailers, etc. for sales and recruiting purposes.
- Be an expert in industry standards and regulatory codes for residential and commercial areas.
- Actively use all social media channels Cambria participates in to promote the brand and product.
- Serve as a source of information and industry knowledge, delivering critical information to and from the field regions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create market intelligence and support materials and tools.
- Calibrate and collaborate with department leadership on initiatives and tools to build and grow business.
- Communicate relevant information from other company areas to Market Reps to assist them.
- Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.

- Minimum 7 Years of Experience Selling.
- Minimum of 3 Years of Employee Management Experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google (Docs, Sheets, Slides) suites of software.
- Ability to work extended hours, including evenings and overnights, and to travel over weekends.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds of quartz samples.
- Must be able to drive for a long period of time.
