About the Role

Mitsubishi Motors is seeking a District Aftersales Manager to serve as a strategic partner for dealer performance and customer experience in the West Region. You will liaise directly with dealer partners across Colorado, Utah, Idaho, and Hawaii, implementing long-term business plans and fostering growth.

What You'll Do

  • Regularly communicate with and visit dealer partners, serving as a consultant on Aftersales operations.
  • Leverage knowledge of dealership parts/service operations and Mitsubishi programs to identify revenue opportunities and develop improvement plans.
  • Review dealer financial statements and systems to proactively identify and recommend opportunities in process, staffing, facilities, and marketing.
  • Assist dealer partners in operational troubleshooting, helping to resolve problems and working with external vendors and internal teams.
  • Provide ad hoc training and guidance to dealer partner staff on best practices in data, inspections, service excellence, parts sales, and warranty administration.
  • Drive Aftersales performance by consulting with dealers on achieving profitability targets, growing customer pay business, and improving CSI scores.
  • Work cross-functionally with Parts Distribution, Customer Relations, Warranty, Product Quality, Legal, and other departments.
  • Work with the Aftersales Performance team to look for and develop unique opportunities within the District, including wholesale and collision.
  • Act as consultant to the Dealer Development team on planning and implementing Aftersales strategies for new dealers.
  • Work closely with your District Sales Manager counterpart on joint dealer visits and holistic opportunities.
  • Advise Regional Management and/or Dealer Development of issues with dealer partners related to adherence to policies or the Dealer Agreement.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of professional exempt level automotive retail/wholesale experience.
  • Prior automotive retail sales experience such as Service Representative, Service/Parts Manager, etc.
  • Deep understanding of what drives customer behavior, improves customer experience, increases sales from service, and increases retention.
  • Deep understanding of dealership operations and systems on the Aftersales side, including profit drivers and how to analyze data to implement strategies.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of individuals, from customers to members of MMNA leadership.
  • Working knowledge of vehicle technology, vehicle systems, maintenance, and parts and accessories functionality.
  • Must maintain a valid unconditional driver’s license and an approved driving record.

Nice to Have

  • Automotive retail sales experience on the Sales Operations/ new car sales side.
  • Automotive OEM experience in a corporate department, such as Marketing, Warranty, Customer Service or Customer Experience.
  • ASE certification in four or more areas.

Team & Environment

You will be a member of the West Region team, working cross-functionally with multiple departments.

  • Compensation: $90,000 to $100,000

Work Mode

This role is remote. Candidates should be based near Denver, CO, or Salt Lake City, UT.
