CVS Health is hiring a District Support Pharmacist (Part-Time) to ensure continuity of pharmacy services. In this role, you will travel within your assigned district to cover scheduling gaps, support pharmacy operations, and act as a role model and proxy for the Pharmacy Manager.

What You'll Do

Travel within the district to fill scheduled pharmacist shifts.
Oversee the pharmacy and serve as the Pharmacy Manager's proxy during bench shifts without overlap.
Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following and directing pharmacy workflow procedures.
Assume the Pharmacy Manager's day-to-day duties when serving as the only or primary pharmacist-on-duty.
Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy, collaborating with healthcare teams, and resolving issues.
Proactively offer and deliver immunizations; engage and support Pharmacy Technicians to learn to immunize.
Support effective management of pharmacy inventory, with a focus on protecting cold chain products.
Remain flexible for scheduling and business needs while contributing to a safe, inclusive team dynamic.
Maintain relevant clinical and technical skills through required trainings and CMEs.
Support pharmacist-delivered clinical care such as testing and prescribing services where permissible.
Understand and comply with all relevant laws, regulations, professional standards, and CVS Health policies.

What We're Looking For

Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Nice to Have

1-2 years of related work experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.

Team & Environment

Works within the district under the direction of the Pharmacy Manager (PM) and Rx District Leader (DL).
