You will provide technical expertise and team leadership in domains like Security, Systems, Databases, and Networking Solutions.
What You'll Do
- Develop solutions in specific domains such as Security, Systems, Databases, and Networking Solutions.
- Contribute knowledge, guidance, technical expertise, and team leadership skills.
- Clearly and persuasively communicate complex technical and business concepts to customers and team members.
- Be the go-to person for problem-solving of customers’ business and technical issues.
- Drive the design, development, integration, delivery, and evolution of highly scalable distributed software.
- Work closely with software engineers, architects, product managers, and partner teams to get high-quality products through the agile software development lifecycle.
- Groom features/user stories to estimate, identify technical risks/dependencies and communicate them to stakeholders.
- Maintain and drive the clearing of technical debt, vulnerabilities, and currency of 3rd party components.
- Coach and mentor engineers to design and implement highly available, secure, distributed software in a scalable architecture.
- Keep management and stakeholders informed about the status of disaster recovery preparedness, including risks, progress, and improvements.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 9 years of experience.
- Any Graduate education qualification.
- Understanding of customer IT-DR for On-Premise/Off-Premise/Hybrid Infrastructure for the application.
- Understanding of DR-DRILL to map them into Kyndryl Resiliency Orchestration solution (Sanovi DRM solution).
- Perform updates and revisions to materials including LLD, HDL, Solution Design/Approach document, Technical Reports, PPTs.
- Experience in Linux and any database (Oracle, MySQL).
- Strong understanding of Data Protection (Back-up & Recovery, BCP DR, Storage Replication, Database Native Replications, Data Archival & Retention) for application workloads such as MS SQL, Exchange, Oracle, VMware, Hyper-V, Azure, AWS.
- Extremely good hands-on experience with Standalone and Clustered UNIX (AIX/Solaris/HPUX/RHEL/etc.) and Windows platform.
- TCL/Shell/Batch/PowerShell/Expect Scripts or similar scripting languages is a must.
- Ability to write scripts to integrate with different technologies using CLI's/API's.
- Understand and have strong knowledge of any Storage Replication technology with various DR Scenarios.
- Ability to design/architect and build LLD, HLD, Implementation.
Nice to Have
- Application testing experience.
- Overall IT Infrastructure understanding.
- Cyber (IT) Security related experience.
- Hands on knowledge of Disaster recovery tool.
- Hands on experience on Linux administration and excellent scripting knowledge.
- 10 years of experience in Disaster recovery practice with experience in Banking, Manufacturing, Insurance and BFSI clients.
