Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is hiring a Director, Value and Risk Advisory to join our commercial real estate valuation and consulting team. This role is responsible for leading and completing complex assignments, originating new business, and mentoring junior professionals.
What You'll Do
- Complete entire valuation reports to a 'client ready' standard.
- Originate select work by partnering with leadership to identify targets.
- Spend approximately 20-50% of your time coaching analysts, senior analysts, and associates.
- Personally inspect most assignments and assist other team members on inspections.
- Attend at least one local commercial real estate event per year.
What We're Looking For
- Active state certified general (CG) appraiser license.
- Ability to maintain state licensing for your specific geographic focus.
- Minimum of 1 year holding a CG license.
- Ability and authority to sign valuation reports.
- Mastery of complex concepts and assignments within your chosen sector.
- Full competency in all core technical skills for the role.
- Successful demonstration of all Associate Director skillset requirements.
Technical Stack
- Master Argus competency (required for team members of the national institutional team).
Team & Environment
You will partner with and coach analysts, senior analysts, and/or associates to complete assignments.
