About the Role

Great Minds is a high-growth, mission-driven organization seeking a Director, Transformation. In this role, you will be a key part of the Transformation Office, accelerating the company toward its strategic objectives. You will define, launch, and lead high-velocity initiatives critical to scaling our impact, ensuring all students have access to meaningful content and teachers have effective tools.

What You'll Do

  • Support senior executives in defining 6- to 12-month transformation objectives, crafting roadmaps, performing critical analyses, and leading implementation of major change programs.
  • Create compelling cases for change through storytelling, targeted analytics, and facts for leadership and the organization.
  • Shape key transformation initiatives via written briefs and generate value creation models to support and scope investment cases.
  • Lead all stages of a transformation workstream including defining the workplan, performing analyses, developing recommendations, and collaborating with stakeholders to support implementation.
  • Work side-by-side with internal teams and partners to drive lasting change and results, getting hands-on in designing and building new tools, systems, and ways of working.
  • Act as a change leader across the organization, providing training, coaching, and leadership development to build capacity for change and greater effectiveness.
  • Work with Analytics teams to develop monitoring plans that measure solution effectiveness after launch.
  • Use facts and data to facilitate high-bar, data-driven inspection and decision making.
  • Apply methods of rapid-cycle hypothesis testing and proof-of-concepts to build and scale new tools, systems, processes, and ways of working.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience defining and leading complex, multi-stakeholder transformation initiatives from conception through implementation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives for change backed by data.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, coach teams, and build organizational capacity for change.
  • Hands-on experience designing and building new operational tools, systems, or processes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience presenting to and advising senior leadership.
  • A deep commitment to a mission-driven culture focused on educational excellence and respect for educators and students.

Team & Environment

You will be part of the Transformation Office, working closely with senior executives and cross-functional teams to drive strategic growth and scale.
