Hadrian Automation is hiring a Director, Technical Recruiting

Lead and shape technical talent acquisition for a rapidly scaling company at the forefront of redefining American manufacturing. As Director, Technical Recruiting, you’ll build and guide a team of recruiters while actively managing full-cycle hiring for critical engineering roles in software, hardware, and robotics. Reporting to the VP of People & Talent, you’ll balance hands-on candidate engagement with strategic leadership to meet aggressive growth goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and hold accountable a growing team of recruiters through coaching, performance management, and career growth planning
  • Act as a player-coach by owning high-priority technical requisitions from sourcing through offer close
  • Establish measurable team objectives and use data to track progress, refine processes, and forecast hiring capacity
  • Champion a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the recruiting function
  • Design and evolve the technical recruiting strategy to support long-term scaling in engineering talent
  • Analyze pipeline metrics to identify inefficiencies and guide decision-making across sourcing, screening, and interviewing
  • Promote consistent use of structured hiring practices, transparent communication, and rigorous candidate evaluation
  • Partner on initiatives related to recruiting technology, process optimization, and employer branding

What You Bring

  • Minimum of 9 years in recruiting, with at least 3 years leading teams of 10 or more
  • Proven ability to build and scale recruiting infrastructure in fast-moving environments
  • Leadership style rooted in empathy, clarity, and adaptability during periods of change
  • Strong organizational skills and fluency in recruiting metrics and data analysis
  • Track record of placing elite technical talent across engineering domains

Nice to Have

  • Background in high-growth startups or transitions from agency to in-house recruiting
  • Experience scaling recruiting operations during hypergrowth phases
