LSG Sky Chefs is looking for a Director of Sales & Services for a 4-month contract assignment covering an employee leave of absence. This corporate leadership role provides strategic direction for airline client portfolios, manages commercial and customer service activities, and ensures high performance across sales and service operations at our headquarters.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary contact for a defined portfolio of airline clients, managing commercial and customer service activities.
- Ensure fulfillment of customer and company requirements according to contractual obligations.
- Lead complaint management processes, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Manage the development of proposals, tender documents, and customer communication strategies.
- Lead contract negotiations to ensure favorable outcomes aligned with corporate goals.
- Ensure contract implementation, including establishing project teams and project plans.
- Support preparation and analysis of customer-related commercial data and performance reports.
- Organize and oversee customer visits and key touchpoints aligned with strategic goals.
- Collaborate with local Customer Service departments to deliver high-quality product and service presentations.
- Ensure the sales and service function is properly staffed, organized, and aligned with global and regional objectives.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with corporate, regional, and operational teams.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in customer/client management.
- Experience in customer service management of global scope.
- Strong interpersonal communication and negotiation skills.
- Proven sales experience and 'change agent' success.
- Ability to build business relationships and interact with customers.
- Proven commercial aptitude regarding profitability analysis, pricing strategy, and price/service negotiations.
- Results driven with a successful record of performance and proven problem-solving.
- Analytical and conceptual abilities.
- Presentation skills including professional command of Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Team-based management skills, works effectively and collaboratively in a cross functional environment.
- Excellent computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Proven leadership skills, can effectively direct efforts of those not in direct reporting chain.
Nice to Have
- Experience in management/operation experience in in-flight catering.
- Proven ability of project management.
- Aviation experience.
