About the Role

BrandSafway is hiring a Director, Regional Industrial Sales to lead growth initiatives within our industrial segment. You will be responsible for analyzing the market, developing strategy, leading a sales team, and engaging directly with clients to achieve ambitious targets and expand our market footprint.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct market analysis and set overall strategy for the industrial segment, driving the development of a growth pipeline within the region.
  • Cascade the overarching strategy and operationalize its implementation to align regional activities with organizational goals.
  • Identify and forecast sales opportunities, including expansion into underserved markets, in collaboration with regional and local teams.
  • Coach and develop Sales Managers to enhance leadership capabilities and foster team success.
  • Manage team performance to achieve or exceed defined sales targets and key performance measures.
  • Mentor and cultivate key sales talent within the region to build a pipeline of future leaders.
  • Ensure the effective integration of product subject matter experts (SMEs) to support sales representatives in delivering comprehensive customer solutions.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and serve as a role model within the organization, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of employee onboarding, training, and development programs to accelerate time to proficiency and enhance team effectiveness.
  • Ensure team adherence to established sales processes, standards, and protocols.
  • Review performance reports and dashboards to measure impact, track progress, and identify actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with Region, Division, and Company leadership to ensure strategic alignment and address business priorities.
  • Navigate internal and external economic factors, such as costs, margins, and ROI, to drive sustainable business growth.
  • Engage directly with clients, including C-suite executives, to address business challenges, identify solutions, and develop mitigation strategies as needed.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, with a focus on industrial sales and managing regional or multi-regional teams.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and market expansion within the industrial sector.
  • Experience developing and executing strategic sales plans, including penetrating underserved markets.
  • Demonstrated success in coaching and mentoring sales managers and high-potential talent.
  • Familiarity with integrating product subject matter experts (SMEs) into sales strategies to enhance customer value.
  • Strong strategic thinking and market analysis skills, with the ability to create actionable plans that drive growth.
  • Excellent leadership and team-building capabilities, with a focus on fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Advanced communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence C-suite executives.
  • Proficiency in leveraging sales analytics tools, dashboards, and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) to track performance and gain insights.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, capable of handling complex sales operations and multiple priorities.
  • In-depth understanding of industrial sales processes, market dynamics, and economic factors affecting the sector.
  • Expertise in financial metrics, including cost management, margins, and ROI analysis.
  • Results-oriented leader with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes and achieving business goals.
  • Adaptable and innovative, with the ability to navigate economic fluctuations and industry challenges.
  • Collaborative mindset with a commitment to building cross-functional alignment and organizational success.
  • A role model of professionalism, ethical conduct, and accountability within the organization.
