Levi Strauss & Co. is looking for a Director, Real Estate (Central US) to manage our existing portfolio and drive expansion. In this role, you will handle all lease renewals and actions for current stores while delivering new US Mainline store targets for the Central US Region.
What You'll Do
- Manage all lease renewals, lease actions and real estate activity for existing stores in the Central US region.
- Deliver all new store targets for US Mainline stores in the Central US Region.
- Identify target locations and the store deployment plan for your territory.
- Negotiate all terms for each new US store.
- Provide market-by-market expertise on current real estate and retail activity, trends, and development.
- Align with regional leads to ensure all established strategies are accomplished and delivered on the designated timeline.
- Lead each deal through necessary work-streams with cross-functional partners to ensure it can be presented, evaluated, and approved.
- Work closely with business partners to ensure agreement and accurate delivery of the Levi’s store.
- Post-approval, help manage the process, including assisting with lease negotiation, design approval, and construction execution.
- Remain updated and aligned on all internal projects and strategies impacting retail store execution.
- Develop strong landlord, broker, and retailer relationships in the industry.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business Finance or Real Estate.
- 10 years of experience in commercial retail real estate.
- Experience with real estate finance metrics such as NPV analysis, ROIC, and IRR.
- Ability to understand and interpret store-level P&Ls.
- Strong negotiating skills.
- Intermediate-level understanding of lease provisions.
- Strong understanding of retail real estate market standards.
- Strong market understanding for each major metro area in the territory.
- Experience delivering regular executive-level presentations.
- Availability for 50%+ travel.

You will report directly to the VP Real Estate and Construction, US/Canada.

- Compensation range: $144,800-$219,300 per year.
