Pratt & Whitney (RTX Corporation) is looking for a Digital Technology Project Manager to lead and manage projects for the Digital Technology Systems Management and Security (SMS) Program Management Office (PMO). You will ensure exceptional project execution through effective planning, coordination, and risk management, collaborating closely with DT, GSS Cybersecurity, and other enterprise resources.
What You'll Do
- Lead project planning sessions and develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed timelines, key milestones, and optimized resource allocation.
- Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
- Monitor and report on project progress, making necessary adjustments to plans to meet objectives.
- Brief senior leaders within Digital Technology (DT) and potentially with Global Security Services (GSS).
- Identify and manage project risks by implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
- Facilitate project meetings by providing clear agendas and actionable items.
- Manage project budgets rigorously, ensuring completion within financial constraints.
- Foster a collaborative team environment that promotes effective communication and teamwork.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Project Management Certification (PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe Scrum Master, or SAFe Product Owner).
- Experience in project management methodologies (Agile or Waterfall).
- Experience with project management software (JIRA or MS Project).
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of the Information Technology (IT) and Cybersecurity industry.
- Demonstrated experience with JIRA for project management.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity processes and technologies, including application development, IT infrastructure and networking services, collaborative tools and technology, and risk analysis/reporting.
- Familiarity with Agile project management methodology.
