About the Role
This role is responsible for shaping and advancing the strategic direction of quality measurement and performance improvement across a national network of independent practices. The individual will ensure alignment with regulatory standards, drive innovation in quality reporting, and support partners in achieving excellence in patient care.
Responsibilities
- Define long-term vision for quality strategy in alignment with organizational goals
- Oversee the design and implementation of quality performance frameworks
- Collaborate with clinical and data teams to enhance quality reporting accuracy
- Guide partners in meeting and exceeding quality benchmarks in value-based contracts
- Stay current with CMS and other payer quality program requirements
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve quality scores across practice networks
- Translate complex regulatory guidelines into actionable practice-level guidance
- Develop tools and resources to support quality improvement at scale
- Analyze performance data to identify trends and intervention opportunities
- Advocate for policy changes that support equitable quality measurement
- Represent the organization in external quality-related working groups
- Mentor team members working on quality initiatives
- Ensure consistency in quality methodologies across programs
- Partner with product teams to integrate quality insights into technology platforms
- Drive adoption of best practices in clinical quality reporting
- Evaluate emerging quality measures for potential inclusion in performance models
- Support audit readiness for quality-based incentive programs
- Facilitate training sessions for practice staff on quality requirements
- Monitor industry developments in healthcare quality standards
- Optimize workflows to reduce administrative burden related to quality reporting
- Ensure equity is embedded in quality measurement and improvement strategies
- Coordinate with external vendors on quality data submission processes
- Publish internal insights and external thought leadership on quality topics
- Maintain documentation of quality methodologies and decision rationales
- Respond to client inquiries related to quality performance expectations
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in public health, health administration, or related field
- Certification in healthcare quality (e.g., CPHQ)
- Direct experience with Aledade’s practice partners or similar networks
- Prior leadership role in a value-based care organization
- Published work or presentations on healthcare quality topics
