Allucent is hiring a Director, Pharmacometrics

About the Role

At Allucent, our mission is to help bring new therapies to light. We are looking for a Director, Pharmacometrics to join us. In this role, you will serve as a senior technical modeler and project lead, shaping strategy and driving decisions using PK and PK/PD modeling within our entrepreneurial culture.

What You'll Do

  • Lead multiple pharmacometrics projects as senior technical modeler and project lead.
  • Shape strategy, guide analysis, and drive decisions that move programs forward.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, execute, and interpret population PK and PK/PD models.
  • Mentor a talented team of pharmacometricians, helping them grow technically and strategically.
  • Foster a culture of curiosity and excellence.

What We're Looking For

  • Higher degree in life science, medicine, biomathematics, engineering, or statistics.
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience as a pharmacometrician in clinical development.
  • Regulatory experience including regulatory report writing is essential.
  • Experience with regulatory submissions including INDs, CTAs, regulatory meetings, and NDA/BLA/MAA submissions.
  • Demonstrable hands-on experience of population PK, exposure-response, and PK/PD modeling in a clinical setting.
  • Solid understanding about the principles of model-informed drug development (MIDD) and its practical delivery.
  • Excellent technical and programming skills with population analysis and other software, including NONMEM and R as a minimum.
  • Experience collaborating in and leading matrix teams including junior modelers, programmers and other technical and project management staff.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Monolix and PKSim is a plus.
