In this role, you will be the key liaison between client hospitals and TeamHealth's regional leadership, primarily supporting the Vice President of Operations (VPO) and focusing on Hospitalist Specialty Services (OB/GYN) to ensure client and organizational expectations are met.
What You'll Do
- Manage and support assigned contracts, ensuring compliance and serving as the primary client liaison.
- Collaborate with operational service centers (Recruiting, Scheduling, HR, Credentialing) to achieve optimal contract performance.
- Drive action planning and follow-up on client, Web-of-Influence, Press Ganey, and engagement surveys.
- Participate in Business Development activities, including RFP responses, proforma builds, presentations, and renewal negotiations.
- Provide oversight of direct reports, including conducting performance reviews.
- Oversee the full-cycle billing process.
- Provide input to leadership on prioritizing Performance Improvement Consultants (PIC) resources and coordinate their scheduling and onsite events.
- Participate in assigned PIC projects and manage ongoing follow-up handoffs.
- Research and fulfill data requests for monthly and quarterly operational reviews for VPO and SVPs.
- Utilize internal tools to manage daily productivity goals and monitor metrics within contract and budget parameters.
- Contribute to annual budget development and manage contracts to meet budgetary goals.
- Work to achieve client and TeamHealth operating metric goals.
- Participate in regional Monthly Operating Reviews as directed.
- Monitor financial performance through reports and act to ensure cost-effective operations.
- Coordinate hospital client start-ups.
- Resolve urgent operational challenges (e.g., staffing, compliance) with minimal disruption.
- Create and deliver presentations for client meetings.
- Assist with clinician compliance matters, including education, documentation, and credentialing.
- Partner with clinical leaders and Facility Medical Directors to enhance engagement, execute action plans, and participate in meetings.
- Manage compensation requests and coordinate market analysis.
- Participate in administrative hiring by reviewing resumes, interviewing candidates, and traveling for onboarding.
- Stay actively involved in leader and clinician recruiting.
- Represent TeamHealth on internal, vendor, and hospital committees as requested.
- Distribute and cascade TeamHealth resources to clinicians.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or a related field.
- Supervisory experience managing Practice Coordinators.
Nice to Have
- 1 to 3 years of experience in practice, provider, or clinical management, including process improvement.
