About the Role

Pfizer is hiring a Director, Oncology Field Medical Outcomes to provide deep therapeutic and outcomes expertise for our Oncology portfolio. This field-based role focuses on integrated customers like health systems and large community practices, educating them on the clinical and economic impact of Pfizer Oncology medicines.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the Oncology Medical lead for assigned customers in the Northeast U.S., providing objective, scientifically sound medical and outcomes-based information.
  • Develop and deliver real‑world evidence, pharmacoeconomic insights, and HIT‑enabled initiatives to improve patient care and close quality gaps.
  • Lead customer-specific medical strategies and collaborations, engage key external stakeholders, and support formulary and decision-making needs.
  • Lead high‑impact outcomes initiatives that advance population health and support care‑delivery decision‑making.
  • Translate customer insights into enterprise value through cross‑functional collaboration with HEOR, Field Medical, and commercial partners.
  • Maintain deep market and customer intelligence within a complex, evolving healthcare landscape.

What We're Looking For

  • PharmD / PhD / Terminal degree with 7+ years of experience OR Masters degree with 8+ years of experience.
  • Experience in clinical, formulary, and/or other health-system management; Managed Care, pharmaceutical industry, health-system operations, and/or Quality Improvement.
  • Proven experience in Data Analytics and/or HEOR activities, with demonstrated strong methodological skills in study design, data analysis, and interpretation.
  • Significant experience in interacting with healthcare decision makers and population health providers.
  • Experience communicating large amounts of scientific information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Experience influencing and collaborating with peers to create business impact and strong situational leadership skills.
  • Able to travel, including overnight travel for meetings; able to potentially travel 40 – 50% of the time.
  • Must be located within a 2-hour drive of a major airport and able to operate a company car with a valid US Driver’s License.

Team & Environment

Reporting to the Field Medical Outcomes Team Lead.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Compensation range: $176,600.00 to $282,900.00
  • 401(k) plan with Pfizer Matching Contributions and an additional Pfizer Retirement Savings Contribution

Work Mode

This is a remote position, but the candidate must be located in the Northeast U.S. region.
