About the Role

Practicebetter is hiring a Director of Workspace Operations to serve as the operational backbone of the Saltbox network. You will directly lead Market Leaders and own the executional engine that powers every location, ensuring operational and financial performance alongside a consistent member experience.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and develop a strong bench of Market Leaders, coaching them into confident, disciplined operators.
  • Create and uphold a unified Saltbox operating system including SOPs, operating rhythms, quality standards, and accountability structures.
  • Drive Net Operating Income (NOI) performance through labor planning, occupancy strategy, expense discipline, and operational execution.
  • Partner closely with Facilities, Fulfillment, Sales, Product, and Finance to ensure seamless handoffs and shared accountability.
  • Ensure every location delivers a consistent, high-trust member experience and lead escalations requiring senior operational judgment.
  • Ensure training, systems, and operational standards are implemented and reinforced across all Market Leaders and their teams.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage technology and AI tools to improve operational efficiency, decision-making, and the member experience.

What We're Looking For

  • 7–12+ years leading multi-site operations.
  • Proven success driving P&L outcomes across a network of locations.
  • Experience managing managers, not just frontline teams.
  • Strong background in operational systems, standards design, and process enforcement.
  • Comfort operating within logistics or warehouse-enabled environments.
  • Ability to build cross-functional alignment in fast-changing, high-growth environments.
  • Clear communicator with high accountability and executive leadership presence.

Nice to Have

  • Experience from logistics, fulfillment, warehouse operations, multi-unit retail, coworking, or similarly distributed operational businesses.

Team & Environment

You will directly lead Market Leaders and serve as the connective tissue between the field and the business, reporting to the VP of Operations. You'll join a fast-moving, scrappy environment where you write the playbook as you run it, supporting our mission to make logistics approachable, accessible, and efficient for all.

  • Compensation range: $130k–$155k
