Motorola Solutions is hiring a Director of Sales to lead our efforts within Federal Civilian & Law Enforcement Agencies (LEA). You will report directly to the Senior Director of Sales USA and will be responsible for increasing the adoption of Silvus’ MIMO-MANET products across this critical account domain.
What You'll Do
- Direct the entire sales process, targeting customers aligned with strategic company objectives.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with partners and customers in the U.S. Federal market.
- Identify new programs, market segments, and opportunities leveraging our core MIMO solutions.
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and customer events to support business development.
- Stay informed on market trends, changes, and competitor actions impacting our positioning.
- Contribute to a robust sales pipeline and maintain accurate forecasts in the CRM.
- Develop a deep understanding of our MIMO solutions to articulate their value to customers.
- Foster a customer-centric approach and address concerns promptly.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of relevant sales, business development, or military operations experience; OR a High School Diploma/GED with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated leadership, management, and program management experience.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a history of influencing both technical and non-technical teams.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, capable of managing multiple programs and shifting priorities.
- Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, able to drive progress with minimal oversight.
- Must currently hold a SECRET level clearance; OR have the ability to obtain a SECRET U.S. Government security clearance within 12 months of start date.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen due to U.S. government contract requirements.
Nice to Have
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
- Deep understanding of DHS procurement processes, and agencies like CBP, FEMA, CISA, Coast Guard, USCIS, and Secret Service.
- Strong technical acumen regarding tactical communications challenges and solutions.
- Proven sales success with MANET and/or radio solutions, plus knowledge of alternative MANET technologies.
- Track record of working with and overseeing resellers and distributors.
- Familiarity with CRADA formulation and execution.
