Prime Therapeutics LLC is hiring a Vice President, Reputation and External Affairs Strategy to build and lead an enterprise-level reputation intelligence and strategy capability. This role serves as the strategic hub for the company’s reputation, policy, and issue advocacy strategy, acting as a key integrator across the External Affairs organization.
What You'll Do
- Provide work direction, mentoring, and strategic oversight to a team of research analysts and external affairs professionals, partnering with senior leaders on enterprise risk alignment
- Direct and synthesize research on Prime’s reputation, industry dynamics, and policy environment; oversee corporate messaging, reputation benchmarking, and metrics reporting
- Translate research and intelligence into decision-ready guidance, issue playbooks, and executive-level frameworks for effective External Affairs engagement
- Serve as a strategic counselor to senior executives and cross-functional leaders, aligning reputation strategy with overall business and policy objectives
- Own and evolve the enterprise reputation and narrative framework, including stakeholder expectations, trust drivers, core messages, and response principles
- Support the buildout of a sub-function focused on gathering insights and translating intelligence into a reputation and advocacy strategy
- Lead early-warning, landscape-scanning, and real-time reporting across legislative, regulatory, policy, market, competitive, and media developments
- Advance Prime’s external thought leadership and policy communication; oversee proactive communications and crisis preparedness
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, public affairs, public policy, political science, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience; high school diploma or GED is required
- 15 years of work experience in reputation strategy, strategic intelligence, research, or corporate affairs
- 10 years of leadership and people management experience
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship
Nice to Have
- Demonstrated experience advising senior leaders on complex, high-risk issues within highly regulated or highly scrutinized industries
- Experience working closely with public affairs, government affairs, and corporate communications teams in complex organizations
- Experience in healthcare, pharmacy benefit management, health insurance, or other highly regulated industries
Team & Environment
You will lead a team of research analysts and external affairs professionals and serve as the strategic integrator across External Affairs functions, including Corporate Communications, Public Affairs and Government Advocacy, and State Government Affairs.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation range: $217,000.00 - $369,000.00
