Responsibilities

• Create and lead the recreational program
• Organize recreational activities
• Support hobby and interest building
• Lead physical activities
• Plan and execute events and holidays throughout the year
• Support holistic client wellness alongside behavioral skill building, medication support, dietary teaching, and pre-vocational training
• Support clients in creating lives worth living and achieving independence in their community

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree as an occupational therapist, music therapist, dance therapist, art therapist, or recreation therapist
• Registered or eligible for registration as an occupational therapist, music therapist, dance therapist, art therapist, or recreation therapist
• Valid California driver’s license
• Two (2) years' experience in a social or recreational program within the past five (5) years
• One year of full-time experience in a client activities program in a healthcare setting
