Fluidstack is looking for a Director of Infrastructure Finance to lead financial strategy and execution for our multi-gigawatt infrastructure expansion. You will be analytically rigorous and strategically minded, driving complex decisions while building and mentoring a high-performing team.

What You'll Do

Lead financial strategy for data center and energy projects by developing sophisticated financial models and advising senior leadership on portfolio allocation.
Own due diligence for major acquisitions by leading cross-functional workstreams, managing advisors, and presenting recommendations to executives and the board.
Manage a portfolio of projects by overseeing financial performance, identifying variances, and implementing corrective actions.
Partner with development, power, site selection, and construction teams to provide financial insights that optimize project outcomes.
Structure complex financing arrangements by evaluating debt markets and designing credit support mechanisms, guarantees, and off-take agreements.
Build and develop the finance team by mentoring junior members and creating scalable processes as the company grows from 100 to 500+ employees.
Drive continuous improvement by enhancing financial modeling frameworks and strengthening portfolio monitoring.
Represent finance in executive discussions by translating complex analyses into clear recommendations for leadership, investors, and partners.

What We're Looking For

7-10 years of progressive finance experience with a foundation in investment banking and significant buyside experience.
Advanced financial modeling expertise proven on complex infrastructure transactions.
Deep understanding of project finance structures, debt markets, and capital formation.
Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams, projects, and stakeholder relationships.
Expert knowledge of credit support structures, backstops, guarantees, and power purchase agreements.
Proven track record of closed transactions or successful project deployments with measurable impact.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills with ability to influence senior leadership.
Strong business judgment and strategic thinking to balance financial rigor with execution constraints.

Nice to Have

Significant exposure to data centers, power generation, renewable energy, or large-scale real estate development.
Deep expertise in power purchase agreements, energy markets, and utility-scale infrastructure financing.
Advanced knowledge of data center economics including power density optimization and PUE metrics.
Experience with construction budgeting, development timelines, and managing relationships with contractors.
MBA or CFA designation from a top-tier program.
Experience in high-growth organizations navigating rapid expansion.

Compensation: $250,000 - $300,000 per year + equity in the form of stock options.
