Trane Technologies is hiring a Director of Commercial Banking to lead the Denver commercial banking market. You will build relationships with Colorado-based middle-market businesses ($10MM-$100MM revenue), drive strategic growth, and apply strong credit judgment.
What You'll Do
- Build and strengthen relationships across Colorado’s middle‑market landscape, leveraging your network to expand market presence.
- Establish and drive market strategy and sales performance, ensuring team meets production, credit quality, and profitability goals.
- Lead, coach, and elevate a team of Relationship Managers and Portfolio Managers, fostering a culture of growth, accountability, and exceptional client service.
- Apply strong credit and underwriting judgment, providing guidance and oversight on complex credit structures and loan decisions.
- Champion the commitment to offering both the reach of a large institution and the personal service of a community‑centered bank focused on Colorado.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in commercial lending, credit, or banking leadership, including proven individual and team‑development success.
- Strong sales leadership experience with a history of coaching, developing, and motivating high‑performing teams.
- Deep understanding of lending policies, credit analysis, structuring, and risk management.
- A strong and active network within the Colorado business community — especially among companies between $10MM–$100MM in annual revenue.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship‑building skills.
