Cynet Systems is hiring a Director of Business Development to spearhead the acquisition of new business and expand a portfolio of commercial accounts across multiple industries. This remote position is responsible for leading a team to build and execute a sales strategy in the staffing and workforce solutions space.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement an effective sales plan to meet or exceed objectives for acquiring new clients.
- Lead a team of lead generation specialists, ensuring they have the right tools and pitch for engagement.
- Identify and work with the proposal team to fill RFIs and RFPs in the commercial sector.
- Develop relationships with key decision-makers for staffing needs and partner to fulfill those needs.
- Manage and penetrate existing and new accounts, fulfilling client staffing requirements within minimal time.
- Conduct regular onsite client visits to build rapport and foster long-lasting relationships.
- Attend community networking events to create additional business relationships.
- Collaborate with hiring leaders, department heads, stakeholders, decision-makers, and procurement teams to identify critical needs.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and identify new opportunities for portfolio growth.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalency in work experience or education.
- 10+ years in Sales and Business Development.
- 5+ years working with MSP/VMS, Direct, and SOW-based clients in the commercial sector.
- Experience leading teams of lead generation specialists.
- Experience sourcing, qualifying, and filling RFI/RFPs.
- Open to travel up to 30-40% of the time.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Must be tech savvy and up-to-date with current technologies and recruitment trends.
- A persistent and determined attitude.
Nice to Have
- Experience in building sales automation systems and processes, leveraging the latest technologies and AI to automate tasks and outreach.
