Role Overview
As Director Market Access, you will spearhead the development and execution of market access strategies for BeOne Medicines’ oncology pipeline in the UK and Ireland. This position plays a central role in aligning pricing, reimbursement, and health economics with commercial and clinical objectives to ensure successful product launches and sustainable market adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement localized market access strategies grounded in deep understanding of the UK and Irish healthcare landscapes, integrating pricing, health economics, policy, and stakeholder dynamics
- Engage with national trade bodies and policy forums to represent BeOne’s perspective on access and value
- Influence public policy related to pharmaceutical pricing and market access through strategic input and collaboration
- Collaborate with EU and country leadership to align regional insights with broader commercial and access planning
- Monitor evolving health policy and reimbursement trends, assessing strategic and financial impacts
- Lead projects including payer research, advisory boards, and landscape analyses to strengthen access planning
- Adapt global value dossiers and EU strategies to meet local requirements and decision-making processes
- Lead end-to-end pricing and reimbursement submissions, including dossier preparation, negotiation, and lifecycle management
- Develop innovative pricing models to support reimbursement approval and patient access
- Ensure health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) initiatives are aligned with local access needs
- Coordinate with regulatory and clinical teams on early access pathways for new therapies
- Build and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders, including payers, HTA bodies, and health economists
Qualifications
Candidates must have at least 12 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a minimum of 6 years in senior market access roles. Proven expertise in UK and Irish pricing and reimbursement systems is essential, particularly in oncology. Experience with HTA submissions, payer negotiations, and health policy development is required. A Master’s or PhD in Life Sciences, Health Economics, or Business is expected. Fluency in English is mandatory.
