ALDO Group was looking for a Director HR

The ALDO Group is hiring a Director of Human Resources to serve as a strategic consultant to management. You will partner with business leaders to align organizational goals with HR initiatives, driving talent development, performance management, and a positive workplace culture.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with company leadership to analyze human capital needs and set HR department initiatives.
  • Identify talent needs, develop and execute on talent acquisition strategies.
  • Manage new employee onboarding and orientation activities.
  • Provide guidance and input on business initiatives including workforce planning, re-organizations, and talent management efforts.
  • Collect, analyze and synthesize HR data to make recommendations to business unit management.
  • Consult with leaders and provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues by conducting effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with leadership and corporate HR to develop solutions, programs and policies.
  • Identify executive coaching and training opportunities, develop training programs and participate in the evaluation and monitoring of their success.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of federal and state employment laws, regulations, and HR trends to help reduce legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Provide day to day performance management guidance to managers and executives (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.

What We're Looking For

  • 12 years+ of prior experience in Human Resources.
  • Knowledge of basic labor regulations and laws including the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family Medical Leave Act and EEOC regulations.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration and/or a minimum of 12 years of Human Resources management-level roles.
  • Experienced in resolving complex employee relations issues, recruiting, talent acquisition, and benefits.
  • Experience working across various human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, and performance management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and/or Google Suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of current trends and issues in Human Resources Management.

Nice to Have

  • An advanced degree with a concentration in HR or a related fields.
  • A SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certificate, or an equivalent.
  • Experience with HRIS systems, including supporting the implementation and adoption of new processes and tools.
  • Previous experience in an HR leadership role within the construction or telecommunications industry.
