Gong.io is hiring a Director to architect the future of marketing performance. As a strategic, analytical leader, you will shape how we plan, measure, and optimize the marketing engine from pipeline creation to revenue impact. You'll partner closely with Corporate Marketing, Growth & Demand, Product Marketing, Finance, and RevOps to translate data into decisions that accelerate growth.
What You'll Do
- Define how marketing drives business growth from pipeline modeling to campaign ROI frameworks.
- Own the marketing measurement strategy, including definitions of MQL, pipeline, and attribution.
- Build executive-level dashboards that connect marketing investment to revenue performance.
- Partner with GTM Finance and Sales Strategy on planning cycles, forecasts, and investment scenarios.
- Translate business goals into marketing targets, quarterly OKRs, and performance scorecards.
- Lead strategic initiatives such as territory expansion, channel mix optimization, and product growth motions.
- Lead a team of analysts and marketing ops professionals to ensure data integrity and actionable insights.
- Define KPIs across the funnel from awareness and engagement through opportunity creation.
- Drive adoption of advanced analytics, segmentation, and predictive modeling.
- Serve as the key advisor to marketing and executive leadership on performance strategy.
- Present findings to C-level stakeholders, shaping investment priorities and GTM strategy.
- Champion a culture of data fluency and evidence-based decision-making.
What We're Looking For
- 8–12 years in marketing analytics, strategy, or operations.
- Proven success leading a marketing analytics or strategy function with measurable revenue impact.
- Expertise in pipeline modeling, attribution, and data visualization with tools like Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
- Familiarity with SQL or Python.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce, HubSpot/Marketo, and modern data stacks like Snowflake and dbt.
- Comfortable influencing senior executives and presenting complex data simply.
- Experience building and managing small teams (2–5 direct reports).

- Experience preferably in B2B SaaS or GTM organizations.
