About the Role

Allstate is looking for a Direct Sales Agent Specialist to achieve profitable growth by building rapport with customers and driving new business sales. You will be responsible for developing and retaining your book of business within a designated market or retail location.

What You'll Do

  • Drive sales and build, then retain, a book of business within the market or retail location.
  • Attract new customers and cross-sell to existing customers for products including Auto, Life, Auto Club, and Roadside Assistance.
  • Sell to walk-in customers and market products outside the office via calls and in-person visits.
  • Create and nurture community relationships to promote continued growth.
  • Assist customers within the office environment.
  • Successfully close sales of insurance and ancillary products.
  • Meet and exceed sales goals through new sales and customer retention.
  • Leverage community contacts to continually build a sales pipeline.
  • Maintain an active physical presence in the community to build multiple centers of influence.
  • Initiate outbound calling to a target customer base.
  • Monitor local competitors and suggest initiatives to improve the company's market position.
  • Work with Direct Sales Leadership to plan, implement, and manage marketing and sales processes.
  • Deliver optimal results within metrics for quality, productivity, customer satisfaction, and financial performance, while adhering to compliance standards.
  • Understand, promote, and remain current on company underwriting guidelines and policy changes.
  • Receive customer payments, issue receipts, and verify cash drawer reports.

What We're Looking For

  • 0 – 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Must attain required Property & Casualty (P&C) licensure within 90 days of joining if not already licensed.

Nice to Have

  • Existing P&C licensing.
