Responsibilities
- Develop and adapt lesson plans throughout the academic year as needed
- Adjust teaching methods to support varied student learning needs
- Keep thorough and up-to-date records of each student's academic progress and development
- Apply research-backed instructional strategies in daily lesson planning and classroom delivery
- Maintain appropriate student behavior and classroom discipline
- Foster an inclusive and encouraging learning environment
- Use approved curricula that reflect students' diverse cultural, linguistic, and educational backgrounds
- Support and uphold school-wide behavioral and cultural expectations
- Engage with families to discuss student academic and social-emotional development
- Integrate digital skills and technology into everyday instruction
- Assist in organizing and carrying out non-instructional school activities when required
- Work collaboratively with fellow educators and staff
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by school administration
