About the Role
Lead digital insurance projects for a fast-growing insurtech with global clients. Manage stakeholder relationships, drive project execution, and support client growth while working fully remotely from Malaysia or Hong Kong. Fluency in Cantonese and insurance domain expertise required.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
- Lead project planning meetings involving internal teams and client representatives
- Assist in developing solution proposals for new business opportunities, including proofs of concept
- Contribute to the design, submission, and review of proposals and proof-of-concept initiatives
- Support the development of client contracts and related communications
- Identify and pursue opportunities to expand services for existing clients
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to maintain momentum
- Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and final outcomes
- Maintain consistent communication and alignment with clients and stakeholders
- Conduct regular project review meetings and generate status reports using standardized metrics
- Manage the flow of all project-related documents, both incoming and outgoing
- Track and address project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies
- Continuously refine workflows and project management practices for greater efficiency
Requirements
- Must have demonstrated knowledge of the insurance industry
- Must have substantial experience working directly with clients
- Fluent Cantonese speaking skills are required
- Must reside in Malaysia or Hong Kong
- Minimum of five years of experience in project management
- Proven track record of delivering projects within defined scope, budget, and timeline
- Self-driven with the ability to work autonomously
- Enthusiastic about contributing in a fast-moving, collaborative startup environment
Nice to Have
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field is advantageous
- Technical aptitude or hands-on technical experience is beneficial
- Experience managing projects from initiation through completion is preferred
