Keyrock is hiring a Digital Assets Trader - Market Making (APAC Remote). You will support our core algorithmic trading business, primarily focusing on our stablecoin FX operations. In this role, you are responsible for trade execution, operations, monitoring, and analysis during the APAC time zone.
What You'll Do
- Support the deployment of new algorithms, clients, and markets.
- Maintain a global, updated view of all algorithmic trading operations.
- Execute trades across crypto spot, perpetuals, and options; hedge crypto and FX exposure.
- Handle trading operations, including asset rebalancing across multiple CEXs and DEXs and facilitating settlements with counterparties.
- Perform preventative actions through spread adaptations and configuring conditions, pricing, and exposure thresholds on trading bots.
- Monitor client service level agreements closely, evaluating trading performance using internal, exchange, and on-chain data.
- Track treasury positions and liaise with the finance team on accounting for asset balances.
- Report technical and financial problems and support the development team for improvements.
- Develop trading indicators for live strategies, focusing on SLA adherence and alpha generation.
- Perform post-trade analysis to improve trading strategies.
- Act as an internal point of contact for trading and market insights.
- Liaise with the Commercial team to provide insights to market-making clients on performance and SLAs.
What We're Looking For
- 2-3+ years of cryptocurrency trading experience across CEXes and DEXes, either professionally or with demonstrable evidence of high-level personal portfolio trading.
- Exposure to and understanding of key traditional finance asset classes, such as options, futures, and FX.
- Degree in a quantitative field (2.1 equivalent or above).
- Strong analytical ability and full comfort with trading and order books.
- Ability to act and make decisions under pressure.
- Understanding of digital assets, blockchain technologies, and financial market structure.
- Strong attention to detail, adaptability, and a team-player mindset.
- Coding experience with Python as a first language.
- Good communication skills and fluency in English.
