Waste Management is hiring a Diesel Mechanic Apprentice

Responsibilities

  • Maintain pace in your technical courses while carrying out routine service, maintenance, and repairs on Waste Management heavy vehicles.
  • Carry out diagnostics & troubleshooting of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Conduct diagnostics of components using specialist tools and equipment.
  • Complete detailed service reporting and manufacturers documentation.

  • Training duration could take anywhere from 3 – 5 years
  • Position based at purpose-built state of the art workshop facility in East Tamaki, Auckland
