Polarstern Experts is looking for a DevSecOps Engineer (m/w/d) to join our team developing and maintaining a diverse IT landscape. In this role, you will be responsible for building secure and automated services within a hybrid cloud environment, supporting other teams to elevate their security posture.
What You'll Do
- Independently develop services in Golang or Java with a high degree of automation and ensure their deployment following the 'You built it - You run it' principle.
- Build and maintain a hybrid environment consisting of technologies like AWS, Kubernetes, Azure, and VMware.
- Further develop our internal PKI solution.
- Support other teams in developing secure applications and platforms.
What We're Looking For
- Successfully completed IT degree or comparable qualification.
- In-depth development experience in at least one high-level programming language, such as Java.
- Interest in learning and applying new programming languages, for example Golang.
- Experience in the complete software development process for scalable services in a cloud environment, including IaC, Testing, Refactoring, CI/CD, and Monitoring.
Nice to Have
- Experience with technologies such as AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Vault, Consul, and/or Packer.
