EX Squared is looking for a Remote System Architect to define and guide our technical vision and system design. This role will be central to creating robust, scalable architectural solutions.
What You'll Do
- Design and document high-level system architecture and technical roadmaps.
- Lead the evaluation and selection of technologies and frameworks.
- Translate complex business requirements into secure, reliable, and scalable system designs.
- Establish and evangelize architectural principles, standards, and best practices.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure architectural integrity throughout the development lifecycle.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience designing and implementing complex, distributed system architectures.
- Expert knowledge of system design patterns, cloud-native principles, and integration strategies.
- Strong ability to analyze trade-offs between performance, scalability, cost, and security.
- Excellent communication skills for articulating architectural decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with the full software development lifecycle in a production environment.
Work Mode
This is a fully remote position. Candidates must be located in Norway to be eligible.
