capital.com is seeking a DevOps Team Lead to guide the team responsible for the reliability, scalability, and performance of our global trading platform. You will lead initiatives to ensure our infrastructure supports rapid, safe delivery of services to our users.

What You'll Do

Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and high ownership.
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and monitoring/alerting systems.
Drive the adoption of SRE best practices, focusing on system reliability, performance optimization, and efficient incident response.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure infrastructure and deployment processes support rapid and safe delivery of features.
Manage cloud infrastructure costs and resource optimization across multiple cloud providers and regions.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience (5+ years) in a DevOps/SRE role with at least 2 years in a leadership or team lead capacity.
Strong expertise with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Deep knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience building and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like Python, Bash, or Go.
Solid understanding of networking, security best practices, and monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

Experience in the fintech or trading industry, understanding of low-latency and high-availability system requirements.
Knowledge of database administration and performance tuning (PostgreSQL, Redis).
Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
Experience managing on-call rotations and incident response processes.
