WesternUnion is looking for a DevOps Lead to provide end-to-end Release Management for the pricing platform, driving operational readiness and governance through strong DevOps practices. You will ensure seamless deployments by implementing repeatable release processes and CI/CD automation while collaborating across engineering, QA, and operations.
What You'll Do
- Define and run a repeatable, audit-ready release process (cadence, entry/exit criteria, approvals, change windows, rollback patterns). Chair release planning and Go/NoGo forums; maintain the release calendar and ensure alignment across teams.
- Own the health of build and deployment pipelines; drive automation for build, test, security scanning, and promotion across environments. Continuously improve speed, reliability, and traceability; keep Infrastructure as Code (IaC) resilient, secure, compliant, and cost-effective.
- Drive cross-functional initiatives (e.g., CI/CD improvements, audit readiness, disaster recovery planning). Track progress, manage risks, and align stakeholders for effective partnerships.
- Champion test coverage, system observability, and post-incident review practices. Ensure systems are resilient, and issues are quickly diagnosed.
- Champion coding standards, maintain documentation, and promote knowledge sharing. Define and track key health metrics. Report progress to leadership and other stakeholders.
