Role Overview
We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to play a key role in evolving our cloud platform. You’ll be responsible for designing, securing, and managing infrastructure on AWS, ensuring systems are scalable, reliable, and aligned with best practices. Your work will directly impact the performance and resilience of our SaaS offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy secure, compliant cloud environments using AWS services and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support rapid, consistent software delivery
- Lead automation initiatives to improve deployment efficiency and system reliability
- Integrate monitoring, alerting, and testing tools to strengthen system observability and quality assurance
- Establish and enforce operational standards across development, QA, and IT teams
- Respond to infrastructure incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and resolve critical issues
- Support production environments during business hours and on-call rotations as needed
- Manage configuration changes and ensure consistency across cloud resources
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years in cloud-focused DevOps roles, with deep experience in AWS
- Proven track record building and securing automated cloud infrastructure
- Strong proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation, and SSM Scripts
- Familiarity with Git, Jira, Confluence, and agile development workflows
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies
- 5+ years working with Linux and other *nix systems
- 5+ years scripting in languages like Bash, Python, Go, or Perl
- 5+ years managing monitoring, alerting, and configuration in production environments
- Hands-on experience with S3, EFS, and other cloud storage solutions
- 3+ years using AWS messaging services including SNS and SQS
- Experience with RDS, Aurora, and Postgres databases
Preferred Skills
- Experience with CircleCI
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases
- Background in caching technologies such as Elasticache
Work Environment
This role supports hybrid remote work within select U.S. states, with optional in-person collaboration in Austin, TX and Tampa, FL. You’ll enjoy flexible scheduling, remote onboarding, and ongoing support.
